As a Tier 1 automotive supplier, we are ISO 9001:2015 compliant and approved as a supplier by major OEMs. Our products are designed for IATF 16949:2016 quality compliance.
Based on automotive best practice, our in-house quality system is embedded in company culture and we are also accustomed to working with client bespoke quality functions. Our quality system engages with all aspects of the business and all phases of a project as it moves from proposal through Application Engineering to engineering sign-off and electric powertrain product manufacturing.
For prototypes and one-off batches or series production up to approximately 2,000 units per year, our flexible manufacturing facility employs proven processes to produce any Helix motor or inverter, substantially reducing investment cost, production time and risk compared to our competitors. We can also build and end-of-line test integrated assemblies including third party components.
To suit current programme requirements our production processes are optimised around 10,000 units per annum (UPA). Dedicated facilities using these validated processes can be established quickly and with high confidence using our manufacturing process ‘blueprint’. With manufacturing process adaptation, Helix designs are also suitable for high-volume automotive applications at more than 100,000UPA. These high quality products can be manufactured either in a dedicated high-volume production facility or by a ‘build-to-print’ partner.
